That quote i got it from Reply 1988. Jadi ceritanya aku telat
banget baru nonton reply 1988. And Reply 1988 is one of my favorite dramas i’ve
watched so far. Disini aku ngga mau ngomongin tentang Reply 1988 nya dan ngga
mau review karena udah banyak banget yang review juga jadi kalian bisa liat
blog lain yang review.
In here, i want to focus
on the message on it. Especially the quote that i attached above.
I’ve ever written a quote
from forrest gump too in my second post which is life is a box of chocolate
and you’ll never know what you’re gonna get. And reply 1988 took one of forrest
gump quotes on it.
Hidup itu seperti sebuah
kotak coklat, kamu ngga pernah tau apa yang kamu dapatkan. Life is full of
surprise, isn’t it? Kamu mungkin dapet coklat pait, dan ngga ada yang bisa kamu
lakukan. Itu adalah takdir yang kamu pilih. Ngga ada penyesalan, air mata, dan
ngga perlu ada rasa sakit hati.
Manusia boleh berencana,
tapi Tuhanlah yang menentukan.
People these days seem to
achieve and work really hard to chase their dreams. It’s such a happiness when
they get their dreams. But when they don’t, how is it?
I mean, when they fail,
some of them will be so desperate. And many cases that they suicide.
When you are accepted in
university that initially you don’t want to study in there, and look your
friends that they easily can be accepted in university that you’re craving
since you were 10th grade.. it is so painful right? Remembering that you think
better than them. So why can’t you? You feel it’s so unfair right?
When you have been working
pretty hard to save money and being very economically so that you can buy
something or go somewhere.. or you work part-timely very hard so you can earn
money by yourself and not ask your mother anymore.. while other people can
easily get much money from their parents, and can go wherever they want every
weekend and buy something easily, they can go for holiday twice every year or
maybe once every month, wah... their life must be so perfect right, you think..
The biggest mistake of our
social life today is that kita selalu melihat ke atas, and that’s why we can
never easily be thankful.
I once asked to my mother
“Bu kok ngga nyuruh aku si ikut tes sbm , kok ngga nyuruh aku ikut tes stan
lagi?”
My mother answered “udah
kamu diundip aja, toh kamu juga udah ketrima di jurusan yang bagus mbak,
jalanin aja, berikan yang terbaik, fokus aja sama apa yang kamu jalani sekarang
mbak.. gausah liat yang lebih tinggi.. toh yang terlihat lebih bagus tidak
selalu bagus, banyak anak yang ngga bisa kuliah kayak kamu, bersyukur”
I always remember that. My
tears are falling down right now. Since that, aku sadar, kok aku ngga ada rasa
bersyukurnya toh aku juga enjoy disini.. kenapa harus craving yang lain?
My mother are always like
that. She is not so ambitious. She never thinks of people thoughts. She always
accept everything wholeheartedly and never complains.
Writing this article, i’m
also inspired by kak gita blog yang mana tulisannya di be like a forest gump.

Our lives aren’t always
happened as we wish, we sometimes go ups and sometimes go downs. Sometimes, we
have to rest our heart, our mind, our body. Being ambitious is good, but gimana
kalo Tuhan udah menakdirkannya? We just have to accept it, be patient.
Open your heart and open
your mind, try to accept the whole things that happens in life. Melihat keatas
untuk dijadikan motivasi agar jadi yang lebih baik, dan melihat kebawah untuk
selalu bersyukur about what you have.
Bersyukurlah, accept it
wholeheartedly, people have their own fates, people have their own ways, just be
you. We have to accept anything without complain. Just accept and be thankful
for it.
